Mid-Week Happy Hour making you Feel Fat?

Make up for it with this healthy meal, that will still satisfy.

Mix up some homemade hummus using your favorite recipe.  Mine simply uses Garbanzo Beans, EVOO, Cumin, Tamari, Lemon Juice, Tahini and Salt.  Avoid store brand varieties as they do contain an excessive amount of oil.

Chop up some fresh veggies, such as carrots, cucumber and celery to eat your hummus with.  Avoid pita chips & tortilla chips.

Pair with a fresh bean salad.  I use true roots 3 bean trio.  Mix in spinach, fresh squeezed lime, balsamic and nuts.

Leave the dinner table feeling satisfied and guilt free 🙂
